I'm new to this forum and DAW recording. Please forgive me if this is a stupid question. I am awaiting arrival of my PreSonus 1810c interface and I am trying to learn as much as I can before it gets here. I will be attempting to record electronic drums with an old Roland TD-9 module using Studio One 5. Will I need to download a driver for my TD-9 to do this? There are no driver downloads available for the TD-9 on the Roland website.

I did see this but was not sure if this was the driver or not.

I don't think it is. It looks like an OS update.
The TD9 does not need any drivers. It features Midi IN/OUT so you can communicate in both directions via Midi. All you need to connect it to either an audio interface that had both Midi IN/OUT or a separate Midi Interface that may be connected via USB to your computer.

I guess you've already done this but...
For anyone using edrums, to get the pads showing up in the input menu, you have to register them as a MIDI input 'keyboard' device in the setup section (under options).
